Yes
Just a thought.
Magic Mouse
Here it comes. I knew the ball won't last long. And Apple made one just without it. Apparently Apple lost the name from CBS, I miss the name Mighty Mouse tho.
Google Chrome Frame
One of the major issue when designing web pages are browsers' compatibility. There is always some hiccups when you switch from one browser to another. The good thing is most of the modern browsers such as Firefox, Chrome and Safari, they have pretty much standard and consistence support over HTML4 and even the up coming HTML5.
But what web designers are aware of is the compatibility with Internet Explorer. No matter how dull it is... Internet Explorer is still the built in and default browser that Windows ship with, which most users will use them by default unless they are more technology-aware and smart enough to install Firefox, Safari, etc themselves.
But waiting for Microsoft to catch up with the fast moving web standard is like waiting for the sky to raining gold... But luckily enough, Google has partnered with Apple, Firefox, etc to push the web standard forward and they are currently in an early stage of a new technology called Google Chrome Frame.
What's it? It's basically a plug-in much like Flash Player that will install WebKit into Internet Explorer and extends its support to HTML5 and a much faster and more reliable Javascript rendering engine that Chrome is using. And what's great about it? It allows you to use "more" standards that you used to write HTML code for Internet Explorer. What's magical about it? It installs just like other web plug-in for Internet Explorer. There is a line of Javascript code to detect if the browser has it installed and if not, it will ask the user to install it exactly like how Flash is installed for user.

Although it won't be final released later this year but it may be something we can start looking at. It may help to reduce development time, testing time, and the most important a greater experience to user.
No
Nothing personal.
Should Microsoft make browser?
Come across the thought was a tech reporter asking Mr. Ballmer if they should deploy WebKit or Gecko layout engine for their future Internet Explorer web browser. Interesting enough was that he didn't say no but also didn't say it's planned. Oh well, designers, here come another hard year to fix your layout bugs in IE.
Strange and frightening
Long awaited Palm Pre phone has just launched in the US. Nice and cute looking smartphone that could turn Palm, Inc back in the game. But before seeing how the phone actually looked, I was shocked to see the "SO CREEPY" woman, aka Tamara Hope, an Canadian actress.
I mean... why? I understand the point of the concept. Just... would it be nicer to show more of your product and features than... running a series of TV ads trying to make people forgetting you are not the first?
